About Dr. Collins
“Professional, Prepared, Passionate and Personable, the 4 P’s of Success” –
Dr. Norman L. V. Collins, Sr. is a seasoned and capable public speaker and author who seeks to develop and promote holistic wellness and success to individuals everywhere. He has shared his energetic discourse in such settings as graduations, conferences, seminars, religious services and events, staff development and training, panels and small group discussions.
His wide range of occupational experiences include a counselor, a pastor for more than 15 years, an administrator, an educator, a mental health professional, a workforce developmental professional, and a consultant, all of which have enabled him to affect positive change in the lives of many. As a result, Dr. Collins has been featured in several magazines and on radio shows.
Dr. Collins is also a published author which includes:

- · To Me, From Me, With Love Always (2015), a self-empowerment tool for those who need to “let themselves off the hook” and live their best life NOW!
- · Let’s Get Ready For Work (2019), an excellent resource for individuals who are entering or re-entering the workforce.
- · Letters to Our Brothers (2019), A New York Times Best Seller that is a collection of letters, prose and quotes written by Black men to encourage, motivate, challenge and support other Black men.
- · Now and Then (2022), a tool developed to assist individuals and their families with the challenges of navigating important business matters in an organized manner PRIOR to major illness and/or death of loved one.
His community involvement includes his membership of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and an active child safety advocate with Safe Kids Worldwide and Kids and Cars where he has appeared in many national media interviews and spoken at national press conferences, being a major force behind the passage of a Federal law that will require safety technology in ALL vehicles making them safer for ALL children.
His hobbies include cooking, baking, writing, bowling and spending quality time with family and close friends.
My Approach
My approach to consulting is rooted in positive psychology, spirituality, mindfulness, and practical coping skills. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies for achieving their goals. I believe that consulting is a process of self-discovery, and I am committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their goals and aspirations for a better quality of life and/or improved business acumen.
